What Is the NDIS Transport Support?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible Australians with disabilities to help cover the cost of transport. If you have transport funding included in your NDIS plan under Core Supports — Transport, you may be able to use it for taxi and transport services including those provided by Geelong Taxi Service.

We also accept MPTP (Multi Purpose Taxi Program) vouchers — a Victorian Government program that subsidises taxi fares for people with a severe and permanent disability that prevents them from using public transport.

Wheelchair & Mobility Aid Transport in Geelong

We currently accommodate passengers with wheelchairs and mobility aids in our Maxi Taxi vehicles with advance notice. We are in the process of adding dedicated Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV) to our fleet.
