A public holiday rate of $5.25 applies to trips commencing from 7pm the evening before a public holiday through to 6am the following morning, and on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. These are government-regulated rates — we don't add any additional surcharge beyond what CPVV sets.
